Abstract
The design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of the chair as shown in the representations; the most novel and distinctive features of the chair are the seat portion and arm rests and the back portion of the chair; the back portion presents a peripheral frame section situated around the back portion; the lower end of the peripheral frame section merges smoothly into a back portion support which extends downwards and rearwards from the peripheral frame and then bends forwards and extends to a seat portion support structure situated beneath the seat portion; an upper end of the back portion peripheral frame bends rearwards and slightly upwards along the width of the upper end of the peripheral frame; the seat portion presents a pair of arm rest supports each of which extend outwards from the seat portion support structure and then bends upwards and extends upwards and slightly forwards to the bottom of an arm rest which extends generally at right angles to the arm rest support.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a left side elevation view of the design of a chair;Fig. 2 is a front view thereof;Fig. 3 is a left rear perspective view thereof; andFig. 4 is a left front perspective view thereof.Diagrams of the design are included.
