Abstract

FLOATING SUSTAINED RELEASE THERAPEUTIC COMPOSITIONS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Sustained release tablets which will float on gastric juice are described. They comprise a hydrocolloid gelling agent such as agar, a therapeutically acceptable inert oil, the selected therapeutic agent and water.
