Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the features of shape, configuration, ornamentation and pattern of the shoe shown in the photographs; the shoe has a toe trim area that extends around the toe area and rearwards across the vamp portion of the shoe to the lower end of the tongue area; the toe trim area has a central slightly recessed trim area with inwardly curved sides that extend rearwards from the toe and merge into a curved end area; trim areas also extend along each side of the tongue area to the top of the shoe and have scalloped inner edges that partially overlap the lace area of the shoe; the outsole of the shoe has a plurality of spaced-apart generally identical and short generally cylindrical projections with suction cup-like end surfaces; the outsole also has a curved lateral ridge area extending across the forward end thereof and the rear of the outsole curves part-way up the heel of the shoe; a pattern of similar spaced-apart tonally contrasting angled bars extending the height of the shoe are situated along both sides thereof; a tonally contrasting curved bar extends along each side of the shoe between an upper arcuate area and a lower forward irregular shaped area; a foxing area having a reflective surface extends around the heel and curves downwards to the sole part way along the sides of the shoe between the adjacent angled bars; the upper end of the tongue has a generally rectangular area having a reflective surface thereon.
