Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of a salad spinner having a bowl-like portion and a cover portion; the bowl-like portion has a smooth outwardly curved side wall which merges into a flat bottom wall; the periphery of the bottom wall has spaced-apart generally identical short cylindrical foot portions extending downwardly therefrom and extending a short distance along the adjacent curved side wall; the cover portion has a domed surface having a generally circular area adjacent one side thereof; the circular area has a slightly domed circular raised section thereon; the cover portion has a generally rounded raised area which extends generally radially outwards from close to the centre of the cover portion to the periphery thereof; a flat member extends downwardly along the side of the bowl-like portion from the outer end of the rounded raised area; the flat member has a first generally straight side edge, a second outwardly curved side edge, and rounded upper and lower ends; the flat member has a short raised large cylindrical area adjacent the rounded upper end thereof and an enlarged spherical projection adjacent the rounded lower end thereof.
