The device is particularly useful because it is retractable.

Description

~ ~S~,7~

My inventory is related to a luggage rack for tomobile and the like intended in particular to be mounted at the rear dTun vehicle such as u ~ auto ~ obile, truck, camping trailer, etc.
An object of the invention resides in a luggage rack simple, economical and easily removable construction and mountable on u ~ automotive.
Another object of the invention consists of a holder luggage consisting of two metallic elements welded to the chassis of a vehicle, 1 t behind the latter and two elements telescopic arranged to fit into the metallic elements ques. Preferably, a cross member is provided at the end of the telescopic elements.
In the drawings which illustrate the invention, FIGURE 1 is a perspective of the luggage rack, and ; FIGURE 2 is a side view showing the fa ~ con de mount the luggage rack on the back of the car.
Referring to the drawings, it will be noted that the holder baggage is essentially made up of tubular elements sizes 11 square section, which, in the case of ~ auteauto-mobile are welded to the chassis at the rear part of the latter.
In the case of a truck, these elements 11 can be inserted in the chassis or fix them with clips not shown. In in the case of a camping trailer, the elements 11 are quite simple fully inserted into the chassis.
Telescopic metallic tubular elements 12 square section, but smaller than the elements 11 are inserted in these in predetermined positions as required, such as the size of the luggage wish to place on the luggage rack. Preferred 13 planks made of wood, are screwed in a known way to the tele-r ~ 3 scopic 12 to serve as a basis for bayages.
Note that there are also provided cross members 14 mounted in a known manner at the ends of the elements 11 as that at the ends of the telescopic elements 12, the whole as as illustrated in the two FIGURES of the drawings. These sleepers 14 are preferably tubular and square in section.
Still referring to the drawings, the luggage rack takes vertical pieces 15 mounted fa, known con to ends of the elements 11 and at the ends of the cross-member 14 attached to telescopic elements 12, respectively. ,Finally, tubular sleepers ~ square section connect the extremi-upper tees of the vertical pieces as illustrated in the drawings by means of fasteners and screws 16.
