Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for cementing an oil well drilled in the presence of an oil-based mud, and characterized in that it comprises the placing of tubes in the well as well as the injection of a microemulsion comprising by weight from 10 to 20% of an amphoteric surfactant, from 10 to 15% of at least one co-surfactant; from 3 to 45% of a hydrocarbon or a mixture of hydrocarbons, and from 30 to 80% of water at a height of at least 100 meters, in the annular space between the tubes and the wall of the well, in front of the cement slurry intended for the cementing of the well. Such cementing allows in particular a seal between the various formations of ground and an anchoring of the tubes.
Description
.
huile ~ orsque le forage e~t arrivé ~ une cote convenable, une colonne de tubes vissés e~t descendue et positionnée dan~ ( ! ;
~ 'invention relates to quality improvement of cementing a column in an oil well l ~ r ~ that an oil-based mud was used in the course of said drilling.
~ when drilling a well, a mud is used, which in some ~ cases, can be a mud ~ oil base, which includes emulsions with aqueous pha ~ e disper ~ ée and continuous phase `
oil ~ when drilling has arrived ~ a suitable rating, a column of screwed tubes e ~ t lowered and positioned dan ~ (!;
Ie well is obviously filled with mud, ~ 'next operation . -consi ~ te ~ pump a cement slurry ~ cross ~ the ~
tubes, which are generally filled with mud, and to push back the cement grout into the ring finger between the column and the walls of the well and leave this grout to be made in ~ of cement this column to surrounding land.
What is sought in such cementing, it is ~ t ~ -on the one hand, a seal between the ~ diverse ~ formation ~ of the field ~
crossed ~ and on the other hand an anchor of the tube ~. For this, he It is important, among other things, that the cement lining strongly adheres to ;,.
well walls and ~ the column. ; ~
Or ~ io ~ uses a mud ~ ba ~ e of oil, cementing must be done in the presence of this mud. It arises then ~ two problems related to the presence of this oil-based mud:
.
on the one hand the cement couli ~ and the mud can mix9 -form a ma ~ na difficult to move a ~ ec techniques put ~
in use, on the other hand, the ~ wall ~ of the well ~ which have been impregnated and are covered with a film of oil mud which prevents the cement to adhere properly.
~ 0 These two problems can be re ~ o ~ us by the utility ~ a-tion of a flulde pad placed between the mud and the oimentJ Ce . .:
. ''.
'' buffer is known in the petroleum industry as Spacer?>, To hold its role this buffer must have:
- Viscosity and density sufficient to prevent mud and cement from coming in contact.
- Features such that it eliminates dandruff -cule of oil deposited on the walls of the borehole by mud.
The invention makes it possible to achieve these two conditions by the use of microemulsions and the application of a volume determined of these microemulsions as spacers.
The subject of the present invention is a method for cementing an oil well drilled in the presence of a oil-based mud and characterized in that it comprises (1) placing tubes in the well;
