The design consists of the ornament and pattern of a skate boot displaying a band encircling the ankle portion of the boot, the band extending downwardly towards the rear heel region of the boot. The skate boot also displays a series of alternating grooves on each side of the boot, these grooves being angularly oriented and one of them being adjacent the band. The third variant further shows another series of alternating grooves on each side, the spacing between the grooves of this series being less than the one between the grooves of the other series.
