Abstract

With reference to the accompanying drawings, the container and lid of the present design includes a bottom portion and a lid portion. The bottom portion has a bottom surface which is generally circular in shape and merges with an upwardly and outwardly extending side surface. The side surface extends to a ledge surface which extends outward to a circular peripheral edge. The side surface includes four sets of three adjacent outwardly concave surfaces which extend downward and inward to the bottom surface. From the peripheral edge of the ledge surface, a surface extends upward and slightly outward to a second ledge surface having a circular peripheral edge. From the peripheral edge of the second ledge surface, a surface extends upward to a third ledge surface having a circular peripheral edge.The lid portion includes an essentially vertical surface extending upwardly from the peripheral edge of the third ledge surface to a horizontal surface which extends inward to a circular edge. From this edge an outwardly concave surface extends generally upward to an upper horizontal surface defined by an inner circular edge. From this inner edge a surface extends downward, then downward and inward to an upwardly convex surface. This upwardly convex surface extends upward and inward to an upwardly concave surface which extends downward and inward to a horizontal surface. The horizontal surface extends inward to an upwardly concave surface which extends downward and inward to a central portion. The central portion has a circular raised surface and a groove extending from one end of the central portion to the other.
