Abstract
MÉTODO PARA ATENUAR ENERGIA FORA DA BANDA EMITIDA POR UMA FONTE SÍSMICA UTILIZADA EM UMA PESQUISA SÍSMICA MARINHA, E FONTE SÍSMICA PARA AQUISIÇÃO SÍSMICA MARINHA. Trata-se de um método para atenuar energia fora de banda emitida por uma fonte sísmica utilizada em uma pesquisa sísmica marinha. O método inclui a disposição da fonte sísmica em um corpo de água e liberação de um gás em um volume de água em torno da fonte sísmica. O gás liberado pode ser configurado de tal forma, que ele desloque o volume de água em torno da fonte sísmica a uma taxa inferior a 2,9 x 106 metros cúbicos por segundo cúbico.
