Abstract
método de produção de látex livre de emulsificantes via polimerização em emulsão e produto resultante. apresenta um método de obtenção de dispersões poliméricas por meio da técnica de polimerização em emulsão sem a necessidade do uso de emulsificantes ou colóides protetores. neste método, o uso de partículas sólidas coloidais e alguns monômeros específicos possibilitam a emulsificação dos monômeros lipossolúveis em meio aquoso e a obtenção de dispersões poliméricas em escala nanométrica com excelente estabilidade coloidal. o método de preparação das emulsões é baseado na polimerização de monômeros etilênicos insaturados, hidrofóbicos e lipossolúveis em meio aquoso na presença de um óxido coloidal, como sílica, titânia ou óxido de zinco, permitindo a preparação de emulsões com tamanhos de partículas muito diferentes, variando de 50 nm até 10 <109>m.emulsifier free latex production method via emulsion polymerization and resulting product. presents a method of obtaining polymeric dispersions by the emulsion polymerization technique without the need for the use of protective emulsifiers or colloids. In this method, the use of colloidal solid particles and some specific monomers make it possible to emulsify the fat-soluble monomers in aqueous medium and to obtain nanoscale polymeric dispersions with excellent colloidal stability. The emulsion preparation method is based on the polymerization of aqueous unsaturated, hydrophobic and fat soluble ethylenic monomers in the presence of a colloidal oxide such as silica, titania or zinc oxide, allowing the preparation of emulsions with very different particle sizes, varying from 50 nm to 10 µm.
