Abstract
VEDAçãO EM COROA COM SALIêNCIAS DE VEDAçãO FAZENDO PARTE INTEGRANTE DA VEDAçãO PARA ACOPLAMENTOS HIDRáULICOS SUBMARINOS. Vedação de em coroa para a vedação entre o corpo de um elemento de acoplamento hidráulico fêmea e a seção de sonda do elemento de acoplamento hidráulico macho tem projeções de vedação no seu diâmetro externo ou na proximidade do diâmetro externo para proporcionar uma eficácia de vedação aumentada entre a vedação de em coroa e o corpo do elemento fêmea e tornar desnecessárias vedações circunferenciais de anel em O. Em uma primeira modalidade, as projeções de vedação têm uma seção transversal substancialmente circular e se projetam tanto axial como radialmente do corpo da vedação de em coroa. Em uma segunda modalidade, as projeções de vedação têm uma seção transversal semicircular e se projetam em uma direção axial a partir de determinadas bordas externas da vedação em coroa. As vedações de em coroa de acordo com a presente invenção podem ser retroajustados a acoplamentos hidráulicos fêmea da técnica anterior. Alternativamente, o corpo do acoplamento fêmea ou um retentor de vedação ou um cartucho de vedação ajustado em seu interior pode ser provido com ranhuras ou superfícies que tem um contorno adequado para se ajustar às projeções de vedação na vedação em coroa.
