Abstract
métodos papa diminuição das superfícies afiadas e/ou irregularidades de um stent polimérico e para reduzir os grupos amino reativos em um stent polimérico a presente invenção apresenta métodos para fabricação de stents, que utilizam um tratamento químico para tornar a superfície deles mais lisa, para poli-la ou para tornar o stent mais resistente. um desses tratamentos envolve a exposição do stent a acetona ou a um solvente semelhante. em certas concretizações, há uma etapa adicional, que consiste em colocar o stent em um banho contendo acetona, ou um solvente similar, banho este contendo também o polímero do qual o stent é composto. a etapa do banho de acetona pode ser realizada em temperatura menor do que a temperatura de transição vítrea. a presente invenção apresenta também métodos para fabricação do stent, usando um banho de acetona contendo ácido poliláctico. outras concretizações fornecem métodos para fabricação de stent utilizando um banho de acetona contendo ácido poliláctico e polietilenoglicol.
