Abstract

grânulos mucoadesivos contendo nano e/ou microesferas de quitosana e processo de obtenção de grânulos mucoadesivos. esta invenção, apresenta um produto, grânulos heterogêneos funcionais contendo um excipiente de granulação e micro e/ou nanopartículas de quitosana encapsulando um composto ativo sensível ao ph, e o seu processo de produção. estes grânulos incorporam compostos ativos em nano e/ou microparticulas de quitosana, os quais possuem propriedades de mucoadesão e liberação sustentada do composto ativo incorporado. essas propriedades potencializam maior eficiência de ação in vivo de fármacos ou ativos veiculados quando administrados através de mucosas, redução de efeitos colaterais, preservação da atividade de compostos ativos lábeis e redução da concentração e frequência de doses. o processo de produção pode ser operado em regime semi-contínuo ou descontínuo, em condições estéreis, e permite ser escalonado para aplicação no setor industrial. inicialmente, o composto ativo é encapsulado em micro ou nanopartículas de quitosana, em dispersão aquosa. em seguida, as partículas são separadas por centrifugação, e removido o meio aquoso. as partículas úmidas são secas e os excipientes para granulação são adicionados à massa úmida que é submetida ao processo de granulação por extrusão-esferonização.
