Abstract

MéTODO DE MONITORAçãO, LOCALIZAçãO E GERENCIAMENTO DE FALHAS E DEGRADAçõES EM SISTEMAS WDM. Que utiliza pelo menos dois analisadores de espectro óptico, sendo um no terminal de transmissão e outro no terminal de recepção para realizar a leitura de informações de cada canal óptico, tais como: potência do terminal transmissor e receptor por canal, relação sinal-ruído óptica dos canais, comprimento de onda e desvio espectral. Além disso, para cada transponder e para cada amplificador da rede, o método da presente invenção obtém os valores de potência óptica de entrada e saída através do sistema de gerência do equipamento WDM. O presente método realiza a análise deste conjunto de parâmetros obtidos, que representam medidas reais do sistema, por meio de processos lógicos comparativos possibilitando a identificação de problemas em toda a rede, com a causa exata da degradação na camada física.
