PROCESSO E DISPOSITIVO PARA DESUMIDIFICAçãO DE POLìMEROS A invenção refere-se a um dispositivo para a desumidificação de grãos de polímeros, depositados em reservatórios de estocagem (silos) ou de passagem (funil de alimentação de equipamentos de moldagem), bem como ao processo de secagem de material polimérico que emprega gás seco. A invenção prevê a instalação na base (2) de um funil (1) de alimentação de grãos de polímero para um equipamento convencional de moldagem de plástico (4), quer seja injetora, extrusora ou outro, de um injetor (3) de gás seco, preferencial-mente nitrogênio. A instalação do injetor de gás seco pode ser na base (2') de um silo convencional (1<39>) de estocagem de grãos de polímero. O injetor de gás (3) compreende, preferencialmente, um tubo circular (31) onde estão distribuídos, espaçadamente, orifícios (32) para saída do gás e um niple (33) para conexão da tubulação de entrada do gás.Preferencialmente, esses orifícios (32) são voltados para cima e para dentro, definindo um ângulo de aproximadamente 45<198> com a vertical. Uma primeira opção construtiva do anel injetor de gás (3<39>), para instalação em silos convencionais de estocagem de grãos de polímeros, prevê orifícios (32<39>) estão voltados para cima. Uma segunda opção construtiva do injetor de gás (3"), aplicável em silos do tipo chapéu chinês para estocagem de polímero, compreende um disco oco, cuja chapa superior (31") é dotada de orifícios (32") para saída do gás que percola entre os grãos de polímeros. O processo de secagem de grãos de polímeros da invenção compreende a injeção de gás seco no interior de um reservatório de estocagem ou de passagem de grãos de polímero, a partir de um injetor posicionado na sua base, de modo a ocorrer a umidificação parcial do gás e a conseqüente desumidificação das superfícies dos grãos poliméricos.
