Abstract

IN CONTAINER OVEN WITH THE USE OF FUEL GASES FROM BIOMASS CARBONIZATION. This summary relates to a patent for the process of producing charcoal from biomass, firewood, antler, grass, etc., in container ovens. These ovens may or may not be coupled to one or more furnaces. When coupled, the combustible gases generated in the carbonization in the container furnaces are carried to the furnace (s), where their combustion occurs with generation of hot gases. The hot gases generated in the furnace (s) may be reused in the carbonization process itself, either for pre-drying, pre-carbonization and / or carbonization of another or other container furnaces; or they can be used in a second process, such as steam generation, drying of other products, etc. When not coupled to the furnaces, the combustible gases generated in the carbonization can be returned to the carbonization process itself to provide power to the endothermic process step. Container kilns can be operated semi-continuously or continuously by interleaving or permutation between successive process steps, whether loading, carbonization, cooling, unloading. The loading and unloading steps can be carried out on site, at the biomass cutting and coal utilization site, from the forest area to the container furnace and from this to the coal silo or storage site. In this system, the carbonization process allows the recovery of virtually all the energy contained in the original biomass, enables the production of a higher quality coal, lower ash content and higher process productivity by the possibility of performing a process controlled by the input of carbon. air and monitoring of internal pressure and temperature conditions in the container furnace.
