Abstract

"SUPORTE DE ESTADO UNIFICADO ATRAVéS DE USB E HTTP". A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo, tal como uma impressora, que pode ser conectado a um ou mais sistemas de computadores junto com múltiplos meios de comunicação. Em resposta a uma mensagem de um dos sistemas de computador, o dispositivo gera um relatório. O relatório é gerado de maneira que é independente do meio de comunicação através do qual a mensagem é transportada. O relatório é compactado para transporte e, então, transmitido com o meio de comunicação apropriado de volta para o sistema de computador.
