Abstract

PROCESSO DE OBTENçãO DE ISOSAFROL E SEUS DERIVADOS A PARTIR DE óLEOS ESSENCIAIS DE PLANTAS DA FAMìLIA PIPERONACEAE, compreende processo de obtenção de isosafrol diretamente a partir de óleos essenciais de plantas da família piperonaceae, sem a necessidade de uma etapa de purificação prévia do safrol, que é abundante nestes óleos; a presente invenção acaba por permitir uma maior proximidade da execução do processo aqui apresentado ao produtor do óleo; o processo apresentado tratado é de fácil manipulação e não oferece riscos de toxidade quando utilizado em uma capela de laboratório; tal processo compreende basicamente as seguintes etapas:) adicionar óleo essencial de plantas da família piperonaceae em um balão de fundo redondo com condensador de refluxo; 2) aquecer e agitar a mistura simultaneamente; 3) quando o óleo essencial começa a entrar em ebulição, retirar o condensador e adicionar KOH e CaO, recolocando posteriormente o condensador de refluxo e manter o aquecimento e a agitação por 15 minutos; 4) após passar os 15 minutos, desligar o aquecimento, e continuar com a agitação por mais 10 minutos; 5) transferir a mistura para um becker ou recipiente equivalente; 6) manter a solução no becker ou recipiente equivalente por, aproximadamente, 1 hora; J) filtrar a solução resultante com, preferencialmente, papel de filtro sob vácuo e depositar a mistura filtrada em outro becker ou recipiente equivalente; 8) lavar as partículas sólidas retidas no papel de filtro com éter; 9) destilar a solução; e 10) colher a solução resultante, que já se trata de isosafrol.ISOSAFROL PROCESSING AND ITS DERIVATIVES FROM ESSENTIAL OILS OF PIPERONACEAE FAMILY PLAN comprises the process of obtaining isosafrol directly from essential oils of the piperonaceae family, without the need for a prior purification step of safrol.
