Abstract
"APARELHO PARA ATENUAR O RUìDO EM CABOS SìSMICOS MARìTIMOS". A presente invenção refere-se a um cabo sísmico marítimo tendo um alojamento de hidrofone posicionado no cabo com o alojamento de hidrofone tendo extremidades e paredes laterais rígidas, um hidrofone posicionado no alojamento de hidrofone, um material sólido compatível macio preenchendo o alojamento, e aberturas no alojamento de hidrofone adaptadas para substancialmente permitir a passagem de ondas de pressão e para substancialmente atenuar a passagem de ondas cisalhantes. Uma outra modalidade é um alojamento de hidrofone tendo extremidades, paredes laterais rígidas, e aberturas no alojamento de hidrofone adaptadas para substancialmente permitir a passagem de ondas de pressão e para substancialmente atenuar a passagem de ondas cisalhantes. As aberturas são extremidades abertas do alojamento, nas paredes de extremidades do alojamento, nas paredes laterais do alojamento, ou tanto nas paredes laterais quanto nas paredes de extremidade do alojamento.
