Abstract
MéTODO PARA CODIFICAR UM SINAL DE FALA, CODIFICADOR, PROGRAMA DE COMPUTADOR, DISPOSITIVO DE CODIFICAçãO, DECODIFICADOR, E, SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO. Método para codificar fala ou outros sinais genéricos inclui dividir o sinal de fala em uma pluralidade de quadros, e dividir ao menos uma pluralidade de quadros em ao menos duas unidades de sub-quadros. A busca por uma contribuição de livro-código fixo e uma contribuição de livro-código adaptativo para as unidades de sub-quadros é conduzida. Ao menos uma unidade de sub-quadro é selecionada para ser codificada sem a contribuição de livro-código fixo. O codificador pode dispor interativamente e codificar os sub-quadros diferentemente para o mesmo quadro, e selecionar para transmissão esta disposição que minimiza uma medida de erro através do quadro. Várias incorporações são apresentadas, como embutidas nos programas de computador, em um decodificador, e em um sistema de comunicação.
