Abstract

MéTODOS E APARELHOS PARA INTERFACE DE SERVIDOR DE VPN EFICIENTE, ALOCAçãO DE ENDEREçO E SINALIZAçãO COM UM DOMìNIO DE ENDEREçAMENTO LOCAL A presente invenção se refere a sistemas de comunicações e, mais particularmente, a métodos e aparelhos para delegação eficiente de endereçamento e/ou atribuição e/ou sinalização em uma rede de comunicações virtuais, por exemplo, uma rede suportando redes privadas virtuais (VPNs) e um ou mais domínios de endereçamento. Os métodos são bem adequados para sistemas tais como sistemas de comunicações móveis, onde o número de nós móveis em cada um de uma pluralidade de domínios visitados pode mudar em uma escala de tempo relativamente rápida, assim tornando a delegação de endereço estática do domínio doméstico para cada visitado altamente ineficiente. Uma delegação de endereço pode ser empreendida antes de requisições de atribuição de endereço de um nó móvel visitante, ou uma delegação de endereço pode ser disparada pela requisição de atribuição de endereço. As mensagens de atualização de endereço mantêm o domínio doméstico ciente do status de atribuição de seus endereços delegados e pode especificamente disparar delegações adicionais, de modo que um número de endereços delegados não atribuídos seja mantido.
