Abstract
APLICAçõES DE REDE BAYESIANA à GEOLOGIA E à GEOGRAFIA. Um método e um aparelho são mostrados para a modelagem de um sistema para a estimativa de valores e incertezas associadas para um primeiro conjunto de variáveis descrevendo o sistema. Um segundo conjunto de variáveis de sistema é selecionado, onde o segundo conjunto está direta ou indiretamente relacionado de forma causal ao primeiro conjunto de variáveis. Dados são obtidos ou estimados para cada variável no segundo conjunto e a qualidade dos dados selecionados é apreciada. Uma rede é formada com nós incluindo ambos os conjuntos de variáveis e as apreciações de qualidade, tendo ligações direcionais conectando nós independentes, as ligações direcionais honrando as relações de causalidade conhecidas. Um algoritmo de Rede Bayesiana é usado com os dados e a informação de qualidade para resolução da rede para o primeiro conjunto de variáveis e suas incertezas associadas.
