Abstract

CONTROLE DE MODO INATIVO DE ESTAçãO DE ASSINANTE MóVEL EM UM SISTEMA DE ACESSO SEM FIO. Descreve-se um método de controle do modo inativo compreendendo requisitar a entrada no modo inativo por uma estação de assinante móvel transmitindo-se um pedido de modo inativo a uma estação base servidora tendo um identificador de grupo de contato servidor com o qual a estação base servidora está associada. O método também compreende entrar no modo inativo recebendo-se um comando de concessão de modo inativo da estação base servidora. O método também inclui iniciar um pedido de abrangência entre a estação de assinante móvel e a estação base alvo associada com o grupo de contato alvo, em que o pedido de abrangência inclui o serviço identificador da estação base servidora e o identificador de grupo de contato servidor, O método também compreende conectar-se com a estação base alvo, em que a estação base servidora é informada, pelo uso do identificador da estação base servidora, de que a estação de assinante móvel não está no modo inativo com a estação base servidora.
