Abstract

SISTEMA DE PROSPECçãO ELETROMAGNéTICO AéREO Um sistema de prospecção eletromagnético aéreo (10) é descrito. O sistema (10) compreende uma estrutura de loop transmissor (12) afixada e arranjada para ser rebocada por um helicóptero (14). Um transmissor (22) é afixado a uma estrutura de loop transmissor (12) para transmitir um campo eletromagnético primário. Um pássaro de alto arraste (26) sendo afixado à estrutura de loop transmissor (12). Um receptor 38 é afixado ao pássaro de alto arraste (26) para receber um campo eletromagnético primário e secundário resultante, o campo secundário resultando da interação do campo primário com os condutores em terra que são transversos pelo helicóptero (14), significativamente o pássaro de alto arraste (26) também é afixado e arranjado para ser rebocado pelo helicóptero (41), de modo a manter a posição do receptor (38) substancialmente constante em relação ao transmissor (22).
