Abstract

MéTODO PARA CODIFICAçãO DE DADOS DE VìDEO DIGITAL ENTRELAçADO o vídeo entrelaçado pode ser codificado em duas camadas, a camada base e a camada de aperfeiçoamento. Um método para otimizar a codificação de vetores de movimento para a camada de aperfeiçoamento é proposto. Compreende a definição de várias formas diferentes de ser codificar os vetores de movimento, estimar os custos de codificação para cada forma, e selecionar a forma com o menor custo de codificação. As várias formas de ser codificar os vetores de movimento da camada de aperfeiçoamento podem ser combinadas. Os vetores de movimento da camada base são reutilizados, resultando em um fator de escalonamento e um vetor de atualização, ou novos vetores de movimento são calculados. A previsão retroativa, antecipada ou bidirecional pode ser utilizada. Um quadro ou múltiplos quadros podem ser considerados como referência. O quadro de referência pode ser da camada de aperfeiçoamento, da camada base ou de ambas. Os vetores de movimento completo são codificados ou apenas a diferença entre o vetor de movimento e o vetor de movimento BL correspondente é codificada.
