Abstract
VáLVULA DE INTERRUPçãO PARA CARTUCHO PARA TRATAMENTO DE áGUA. A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo de interrupção que pode compreender um mecanismo para mover-se de uma primeira posição para uma segunda posição, e um compartimento para conter o dito mecanismo. O dispositivo de interrupção pode, também, compreender uma válvula. O mecanismo pode compreender um material altamente dilatável em água. O compartimento pode compreender ao menos uma porta de fluxo. O mecanismo pode expandir-se da dita primeira posição para a dita segunda posição após um intervalo predeterminado de tempo, quando colocado em contato com água. A porta de fluxo pode vir a ficar ao menos substancialmente bloqueada, direta o indiretamente, pelo mecanismo, quando este se encontra na dita segunda posição. O mecanismo pode ser usado em um cartucho para tratamento de água, e/ou pode ser usado para indicar o estado do dito cartucho quanto a sua vida útil.
