"COMPOSIçõES DE ADITIVO E DE COMBUSTìVEL, USO DE UM COMPONENTE ESTABILIZANTE, E, MéTODO PARA MELHORAR A ESTABILIDADE DE UMA COMPOSIçãO DE ADITIVO DE COMBUSTìVEL OU DE UMA COMPOSIçãO DE COMBUSTìVEL". Uma composição de aditivo compreende pelo menos um composto de metal coloidal ou espécies metálicas e um componente estabilizante., em que o componente estabilizante compreende o produto obtenível pela reação de condensação entre: (i) pelo menos um aldeído ou cetona ou seu equivalente reativo, e (ii) pelo menos um composto compreendendo uma ou mais partes aromáticas que contêm pelo menos um grupo hidroxila e pelo menos um outro substituinte escolhido de um grupo hidrocarbila, -COOR¬ 1¬ ou COR¬ 1¬, em que R¬ 1¬ representa hidrogênio ou um grupo hidrocarbila. An additive composition comprises at least one colloidal metal compound or metal species and a stabilizing component, wherein the stabilizing component comprises the product obtainable by the condensation reaction between: (i) at least one aldehyde or ketone or its reactive equivalent, and (ii) at least one compound comprising one or more aromatic moieties containing at least one hydroxyl group and at least one other substituent chosen from a hydrocarbyl group, -COOR¬ 1¬ or COR¬ 1¬, wherein R¬ 1¬ represents hydrogen or a hydrocarbyl group. The composition may further include at least one lubricity enhancer.
