"ANTIVìRUS PARA UM ARMAZENAMENTO DE ITEM". Sistemas e metodologias para integração de uma/umas extensão(ões) de antivirus AV como parte de um Armazenamento de Item. A semântica para operação da (s) extensão(ões) de AV é fornecida pelo Armazenamento de Item relacional, empregando um componente de metadados e um componente de varredura associado ao Armazenamento de Item. O componente de metadados pode fornecer um valor de assinatura estando associado ao Armazenamento de Item que pode representar o tempo de varredura de dados, e resultado para todo item varrido. o componente de varredura pode fornecer um enfileiramento dos itens nos armazenamento de dados em um modo síncrono e/ou assíncrono tanto para a varredura e limpeza pela extensão de AV fornecido pelos vendedores.
