Abstract

"APARELHO MéDICO E MéTODO úTEIS PARA TRATAMENTO TéRMICO DE UM LúMEN". A presente invenção refere-se a um aparelho médico e método úteis para o tratamento térmico eficaz de lúmen, tal como, veias varicosas, que durante cirurgia a laser, são proporcionados. O método inclui a inserção e uma fibra ótica em um lúmen em um local de tratamento que tem pelo menos dois segmentos de tratamento. A seção emissora de luz da fibra ótica é alinhada com um primeiro segmento de tratamento dentro do local de tratamento. A energia é emitida no lúmen no primeiro segmento de tratamento e uma temperatura do lúmen é medida no primeiro segmento de tratamento. A energia distribuída para o segmento de tratamento pode ser ajustada em resposta à medição da temperatura. A seção emissora de luz é movida pelo menos para o segundo segmento de tratamento dentro do lúmen e energia é emitida no lúmen no segundo segmento de tratamento. Durante o tratamento no segundo segmento de tratamento, a temperatura do lúmen é medida no segundo segmento de tratamento.
