Abstract

VEDAçãO DE GáS DE FLUTUAçãO LIVRE. Trata-se de um sistema de vedação que adaptado para uso em sistemas de fluxo de gás. O sistema de vedação tem duas faces de vedação e uma vedação longitudinalmente compressível tensionada por mola entre as faces de vedação. A vedação tem uma configuração de fole e extremidades opostas em contato vedante com as faces de vedação, tal que pelo menos uma extremidade da vedação é livre para mover com relação à face de vedação correspondente enquanto mantém o contato de vedação. O sistema de vedação é particularmente adequado para uso na vedação de um motor em um elemento de exaustão.
