Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA REDUZIR A OBSTRUçãO DOS TROCADORES TéRMICOS DE UM CIRCUITO BAYER". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo Bayer de produção de trihidrato de alumínio, comportando: a) uma etapa de moagem (B) da bauxita (10); b) uma etapa de ataque (A) dessa bauxita por um licor de aluminato de sódio; c) uma etapa de separação líquido-sólido (C e F); d) uma etapa de decomposição (D) do licor de aluminato supersaturado; e) após separação de trihidrato de alumina precitado (30), uma etapa de concentração (E) por evaporação do licor de aluminato de sódio para reciclá-lo como licor de ataque, esse processo sendo caracterizado pelo fato de se introduzir nesse licor de aluminato de sódio um composto à base de cálcio (11, 111, 11<39>, 111<39>) pertencente ao grupo dos aluminatos tricálcicos, a introdução desse composto à base de cálcio sendo feita nesse licor de aluminato de sódio entre sua parte da cadeia de decomposição e sua mistura com a bauxita moída, a montante de um trocador de calor."Process for Reducing Obstruction of BAYER CIRCUIT THERMAL EXCHANGERS".
