Abstract
CARENAGEM PARA UMA COLUNA DE ASCENSãO. é revelada uma carenagem para montagem sobre um componente cilíndrico que é desdobrado em baixo d'água. A carenagem é assim montada com sua face dianteira adjacente ao componente cilíndrico, de maneira tal que o conjunto do corpo da carenagem e o componente possam juntos formar um perfil de lágrima. O colar permite que a carenagem se ajuste às condições embientais, girando em torno do componente cilíndrico para se alinhar com uma corrente.SCREENING FOR A RISE COLUMN. A fairing for mounting on a cylindrical component which is deployed underwater is disclosed. The fairing has a generally wedge-shaped body (4) that tapers from front to back. The body (4) is mounted on the cylindrical component (8) through a collar (6, 6 ') into which the component is received. The fairing is thus mounted with its front face adjacent to the cylindrical member such that the fairing body assembly and the member can together form a tear profile. The collar allows the fairing to adjust to embryonic conditions by pivoting around the cylindrical component to align with a chain.
