Abstract
"PROCESSO E APARELHAGEM PARA REDUZIR SóLIDOS CONTENDO óXIDO DE FERRO". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para reduzir sólidos contendo óxido de ferro, tais como minério de ferro, em que sólidos de grãos finos são aquecidos e pelo menos parcialmente calcinados em um estágio de preaquecimento (2, 9). Em um primeiro reator de leito fluidizado (14), a jusante do estágio de preaquecimento (2, 9), os sólidos são pré-reduzidos, e reduzidos ainda mais em um segundo reator de leito fluidizado (16). A jusante do segundo reator (16), é provido um estágio de briquetagem (20), no qual os sólidos são briquetados a uma temperatura superior a 500<198>C. A fim de aumentar o rendimento energético e melhorar a escoabilidade dos sólidos no estágio de briquetagem (20), é adicionada magnesita ao estágio de preaquecimento (2, 9), juntamente com os sólidos contendo óxido de ferro, cuja magnesita é pelo menos parcialmente calcinada no estágio de preaquecimento (2, 9) para obter óxido de magnésio. The present invention relates to a process for reducing iron oxide-containing solids, such as iron ore, wherein fine-grained solids are heated and at least partially calcined at a preheat stage (2,9). In a first fluidized bed reactor (14), downstream of the preheat stage (2,9), the solids are pre-reduced, and further reduced in a second fluidized bed reactor (16). Downstream of the second reactor (16), a briquetting stage (20) is provided, in which the solids are briquetted at a temperature above 500 <198> C. In order to increase the energy yield and improve the flowability of solids in the briquetting stage (20), magnesite is added to the preheat stage (2, 9), together with iron oxide-containing solids, whose magnesite is at least partially calcined. in the preheat stage (2, 9) to obtain magnesium oxide. In addition, the invention relates to a corresponding apparatus.
