Abstract
"IDENTIFICAçãO DE UMA ESTAçãO MóVEL EM UM CENTRO DE LOCALIZAçãO DE MóVEL SERVIDOR". Um método e aparelho para transportar a identidade de uma MS (110) para um Centro Móvel Servindo a Localização (SMLC) (130) são descritos. Em uma modalidade ilustrativa, uma MS (110) é configurada para encodificar um único identificador de MS (ID MS), tal como a Identidade Internacional do Assistente Móvel (IMSI), em um recipiente de extensão, que é um elemento de informação opcional definido pelo Protocolo de Serviços de Localização (LCS) de Recurso Radio (RRLP) . In an illustrative embodiment, an MS (110) is configured to encode a single MS identifier (MS ID), such as the Mobile Assistant International Identity (IMSI), into an extension container, which is an optional defined information element. Radio Resource Location Services (LCS) Protocol (RRLP). The extension container can be included as a component in a Measurement Position Response message or a Protocol Error message. The SMLC (130) is configured to decode the extension container, retrieve the MS ID, and store the MS ID in association with a single positioning session identifier. Advantageously, the MS 110 may be configured with a test mode parameter. In one embodiment, MS ID encoding in the extension container is enabled in test MS (110) only when the test mode parameter is set to an "on" state.
