Abstract

"MéTODO PARA REPRESENTAR UMA SEQüêNCIA DE IMAGENS UTILIZANDO MODELOS 3D, E SINAL E DISPOSITIVOS CORRESPONDENTES". A invenção refere-se a um método de representar uma seqüência de imagens que são agrupadas em conjuntos compreendendo pelo menos duas imagens sucessivas, conhecidos como grupos de imagens (GOP), pelo que um modelo tridimensional de malha, de textura é associado a cada um dos referidos GOPs. De acordo com a invenção, o modelo tridimensional associado ano GOP de nível n é representado com uma malha irregular levando em consideração pelo menos um vértice pelo menos da malha irregular representando o modelo tridimensional que é associado ao GOP de nível n-1, o referido vértice sendo conhecido como o vértice comum."METHOD FOR REPRESENTING A SEQUENCE OF IMAGES USING 3D MODELS, AND SIGNAL AND CORRESPONDING DEVICES".
