Abstract

"PORTADOR DE GRAVAçãO DE UM TIPO CAPAZ DE SER ESCRITO, E, DISPOSITIVO PARA VARRER UMA TRILHA SOBRE UM PORTADOR DE GRAVAçãO". Um portador de gravação para gravar informação escrevendo marcações em uma trilha, possui uma camada de gravação com uma pré-ranhura (51). A pré-ranhura possui uma oscilação que possui modulação de oscilação (52) para representar informação de controle. A pré-ranhura possui adicionalmente uma modulação de pré-ranhura constituída por áreas de rebaixo de pré-ranhura (54) possuindo uma largura e profundidade pré-definidas, alternando-se com áreas de ressalto de pré-ranhura (53) possuindo uma profundidade e/ou largura reduzidas, em particular profundidade zero. A maioria das áreas de ressalto de pré-ranhura (53) está localizada em cruzamentos com zero da oscilação e a maioria das áreas de rebaixo de pré-ranhura está localizada em valores de pico da oscilação, para otimizar a força de sinal de oscilação. Um dispositivo de varredura possui meios de detecção de oscilação para recuperar a informação de controle a partir da modulação de oscilação, e meios de demodulação de pré-ranhura para recuperar a informação de controle de gravação a partir da modulação de pré-ranhura.
