Abstract

The invention relates to a closing device for a fire compartment, comprising an actuating device (11) which is used to control a closing means (10) according to flooding with a quenching gas and contains a drive means (11.1) for opening and maintaining open the closing means (10) according to the quenching gas pressure. The aim of the invention is to ensure a reliable operation of the inventive device. To this end, the actuating device (11) has at least one other drive means (11.3) that is pneumatically controlled according to the quenching gas pressure in a quenching gas line system and ensures that the closing means (10) is opened and maintained open as long as the quenching gas pressure exceeds a pre-determined or pre-determinable threshold value.
