A presente invenção refere-se a uma composição compreendendo um ou mais hidróxi-sais metálicos e um material de matriz, ligante ou veículo, em que o hidróxi-sal é um composto contendo a) como metal (i) um ou mais metais divalentes, pelo menos um deles sendo selecionado no grupo que consiste em Ni, Co, Ca, Zn, Mg, Fe, e Mn, ou (ii) um ou mais meta(I)(is) trivalente(s), (b) hidróxido estrutural, e (c) um ânion substituível. Esta composição possui várias aplicações catalíticas."COMPOSITION UNDERSTANDING A METAL HYDROXYSTAL, ITS PREPARATION AND USE AS A CATALYST OR SORVENT". The present invention relates to a composition comprising one or more metal hydroxy salts and a matrix material, binder or carrier wherein the hydroxy salt is a compound containing a) as metal (i) one or more divalent metals, at least one of them being selected from the group consisting of Ni, Co, Ca, Zn, Mg, Fe, and Mn, or (ii) one or more trivalent meta (i) (s), (b) structural hydroxide , and (c) a replaceable anion. This composition has several catalytic applications.
