"SISTEMA DISTRIBUìDO DE AUTENTICAçãO E MéTODO DE BIOMETRIA MULTIMODAL UTILIZANDO SINCRONISMO TEMPORAL E ADAPTAçãO AUTOMáTICA DE CARACTERìSTICAS BIOMéTRICAS". A presente invenção consiste em um método de biometria que se fundamenta não apenas na verificação cruzada de diferentes características biométricas, como também no seu sincronismo temporal, para proceder à autenticação do usuário de sistemas que requeiram algum tipo de controle de acesso, a ser utilizado em sistemas eletrónicos equipados com a função de controle de acesso físico, controle de acesso à informação e/ou controle de acesso a serviços. O sistema de autenticação distribuído permite que o usuário possa ser autenticado de forma não invasiva e, em alguns casos, até mesmo sem a necessidade de interação. O fato de contar com adaptação automática, o sistema possibilita que mudanças isoladas em características biométricas possam ser atualizadas automaticamente, se as demais características forem suficientes para autenticar o usuário. Desta forma, por exemplo, o reconhecimento da face e o reconhecimento da voz podem ser validados através da verificação do sincronismo temporal entre estas características, possível através do uso da leitura labial."DISTRIBUTED AUTOMATED SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MULTIMODAL BIOMETRY USING TIME SYNCHRONISM AND AUTOMATIC ADAPTATION OF BIOMETRIC CHARACTERISTICS". The present invention consists of a biometrics method based not only on cross-checking different biometric characteristics, but also on their temporal synchronism, to authenticate the user of systems requiring some kind of access control to be used in electronic systems equipped with the function of physical access control, information access control and / or service access control. The distributed authentication system allows the user to be non-invasively authenticated and, in some cases, even without the need for interaction. With automatic adaptation, the system enables single changes in biometric characteristics to be automatically updated if the other characteristics are sufficient to authenticate the user. Thus, for example, face recognition and voice recognition can be validated by checking the temporal synchronism between these features, possible through the use of lip reading.
