Precisamente o laser sintonizável (2), com seu respectivo controlador (3) e através de um circulador (4), envia sinais de uma determinada longitude de onda à rede passiva (1) de sensores ópticos durante um período T1, depois do qual muda de longitude de onda, recebendo os sinais refletidos na rede de sensores em um conversor eletro-óptico (6), preferivelmente através de um filtro (5) de faixa eliminada, que rejeita a faixa 'off'."FIBER OPTIC SENSOR PASSIVE MEASUREMENT SYSTEM".
