Abstract

"combinação seletiva de múltiplas transmissões não-síncronas em um sistema de comunicação sem fio". são descritas técnicas para combinar seletivamente múltiplas transmissões para recuperação de uma mensagem constituída por múltiplos quadros (frames) . inicialmente, cada transmissão é separadamente processada para recuperar a mensagem. caso a mensagem não possa ser recuperada sem erros a partir de qualquer transmissão única, então porções de múltiplas transmissões são seletivamente combinadas para recuperar a mensagem. os quadros apagados em uma mensagem recuperada a partir de uma transmissão primária ou principal (por exemplo, aquela com a melhor ec/io de piloto) e são determinados quadros bons provenientes de outras transmissões (por exemplo, com base na crc no nível de quadros). uma ou mais mensagens combinadas são a seguir formadas, cada uma incluindo um conjunto diferente de quadros bons substituindo os quadros apagados. caso um quadro bom não possa ser derivado a partir de qualquer transmissão única para um dado quadro apagado, então símbolos provenientes de múltiplas transmissões podem ser combinados para derivar o quadro bom. cada mensagem combinada é conferida (por exemplo, com base na crc no nível de mensagem) para determinar se ela é boa ou apagada.
