Abstract
BARREIRAS SORTIVAS MÓVEIS, PROCESSO DE OBTENÇÃO E SISTEMA DE APLICAÇÃO. A presente invenção se refere a um processo de confecção e de utilização de barreiras sortivas móveis empregando-se a magnetita finamente dividida em diferentes frações granulométricas e/ou bastonetes que sob a atuação de campo magnético apresentam mobilidade, resultando em agitação para o desenvolvimento do processo de sorção, e em fixação e remoção da barreira sorvedora saturada do meio possibilitando o tratamento de áreas contaminadas. A utilização de magnetita como material adsorvedor 'in situ' oferece ainda a possibilidade de tratamento de áreas específicas onde se observa maior concentração de um determinado composto tóxico. Este efeito permite a utilização da magnetita nas primeiras etapas de separação de produtos tóxicos de áreas densamente contaminadas. A magnetita saturada com os compostos tóxicos é removida por separação magnética e os compostos orgânicos tóxicos concentrados podem ser submetidos a reações de fotocatálise (luz solar e/ou lâmpadas UV) e se decompor em compostos de menor toxicidade com possível recuperação da magnetita utilizada.
