TECHNICAL FIELD

The following descriptive report of the present utility model application relates to the development of a protective element for plants, comprising two semicircular pieces that fit around the trunk of the plant forming a frusto-conical collar that can be attached to the ground by means of pins. plastics at the bottom of said parts; It also has a stem protection screen that attaches to the collar by means of fittings, and this screen can receive other similar parts, increasing its height around the trunk. It is formed by a set of two curved rail segments that make up a circle around the plant stem. Within the circular chute, a water mirror is maintained at a constant level, thanks to water contained in a reservoir that flows into the chute. It consists of two segments of curved rails, fitted with flanges, outer and inner, respectively. The ends of the curved track segments are "male" and "female" and fit perfectly to form a circle around the stem of the plant. The segment has an interconnected nozzle through the hole inside the channel through which water from the reservoir flows into the reservoir, thereby maintaining a constant level water mirror within the circle formed by the curved channel segments.

DISCUSSION

The device proposed by Enchanting meets all campaigns against the proliferation of the Aedes aegypti mosquito by maintaining a permanent water mirror around a plant. DAMASCENE uses a cylinder that would prevent pests from rising in the plant. BENATTI uses a cylindrical vessel with an inverted collar and does not mention the possibility of increasing protection using screens.

Thus, due to the discussions pertaining to the state of the art discussed above is one of the objectives of the present utility model application, the development of a protective device for use in plants, consisting of a truncated circular chute formed from halves that fit together. between each other, said trough being attached to the ground by means of plastic pins. Inside the trough and arranged around the stem of the plant is a plastic screen, also made up of self-fitting halves, where these halves can be stacked and secured together to increase the height of the protector around the trunk. .

The proposed device does not use the water barrier to prevent insects from rising and allows the screen to grow around the plant stem.

DESCRIPTION
