A presente invenção refere-se a um método e sistema para uniformemente codificar arranjos de valores em um fluxo de vídeo. Usando um tipo de dados de um elemento a ser codificado, um valor predito é quantificado e codificado como parte de um fluxo de vídeo. O fluxo de vídeo resultante codifica rotações, normais e vetores.
