Abstract
''SISTEMA CONECTOR ELéTRICO, PROCESSO DE ESTABELECER CONEXãO ELéTRICA ATRAVéS DE UM ELEMENTO TUBULAR E CONJUNTO DE ANEL CONDUTOR ELéTRICO PARA USO EM UM ELEMENTO TUBULAR DE FURO DE SONDAGEM''. Um sistema conector elétrico é descrito para uso em ambientes submarinos para prover conexão elétrica pela cabeça de poço em um elemento tubular com aberturas para levar cabos elétricos para furo de sondagem. O sistema inclui um anel condutor elétrico circunferencial que é acoplado e isolado de um elemento submarino tubular tal como um suporte de tubulação, por um elemento de vedação eletricamente isolante elastomérico, circundando o anel condutor. O anel condutor é acoplado a um conector anular elétrico e é adaptado para receber um conector elétrico de um conjunto de conector elétrico horizontalmente montado que é hidraulicamente atuado para penetrar no elemento elastomérico na direção transversal ao eixo longitudinal do elemento tubular para fazer contato elétrico com o anel condutor. Isto completa uma conexão elétrica do conjunto de conector elétrico pelo anel condutor ao conector anular, que por sua vez, é acoplado a um cabo conectado a transdutores de furo de sondagem ou equipamento elétrico.
