Patente de Invenção: <B>"MATERIAIS ABLATIVOS PARA MONTAGEM DE FOGUETE FORMADOS DE, COMO UM PRECURSOR, FIBRAS CELULóSICAS TêXTEIS, E MéTODO PARA O ISOLAMENTO OU PROTEçãO TéRMICA DE UMA MONTAGEM DE FOGUETE COM OS MESMOS"<D>. Uma montagem de motor de foguete é isolada ou termicamente protegida com um material ablativo de motor de foguete formado de um pré-impregnado. O pré-impregnado contém pelo menos uma matriz de resina impregnada e, como um precursor antes da carbonização, fibras celulósicas têxteis cardadas e fiadas. Quando modelado e carbonizado, o material ablativo do motor do foguete pode ser forrado ou de alguma outra forma colocado em uma montagem de motor de foguete, tal como entre o propulsor sólido e a caixa, na área de volume do forro do bico de saída, ou em porções suscetíveis de um veículo de reentrada, tal como o cone do nariz.
