"APARELHO E MéTODO PARA MARCAR ARTIGOS ALONGADOS" Trata-se de um aparelho para marcar artigos alongados tal como madeiras de construção (11) enquanto sendo longitudinalmente transportadas e para proporcionar uma leitura confiável das marcas aplicadas (41, 43, 45, 47) para obter a informação codificada associada relacionada com o artigo. O aparelho compreende uma estação de marcação (10) seguida por uma estação de leitura remota (48). O artigo alongado é transportado em um transportador longitudinal através da estação de marcação (10) que recebe a informação codificada relacionada com o artigo a ser marcado, tal como dados de identificação e/ou de classificação/dimensão. A estação de leitura (48) compreende os pares superior e inferior de dispositivos de jato de tinta luminescente (30) para aplicar um padrão de marca de informação correspondente (41, 43, 45, 47) em cada uma ou em ambas superfícies de cima e de baixo do artigo alongado, padrão de marca de informação este que se estende longitudinalmente em cada uma das superfícies marcadas.
