<B>'' UM APARELHO E UM MéTODO PARA A REDUçãO DO RESìDUO DE FIBRA POR LIMPADORES DE FIBRA DE ALGODãO ''<D> A presente invenção se refere a um aparelho <B>(10)<D> para a limpeza de algodão, possuindo um chassi <B>(13)<D> que rotativamente suporta um membro de cilindro <B>(26)<D> possuindo uma superfície cilíndrica suportando uma estrutura de engate de fibra <B>(27)<D> para agarrar algodão contaminado <B>(25)<D>. O chassi <B>(13)<D> suporta uma montagem de grade <B>(28)<B> para assistência na remoção de particulados indesejados do algodão contaminado <B>(25)<D> engatado à estrutura de engate de fibra <B>(27)<D> do membro de cilindro <B>(26)<D>. A montagem de grade <B>(28)<D> inclui uma pluralidade de barras de grade <B>(28a, 28b)<D> conectadas ao chassi <B>(13)<D> em uma relação espacial de maneira que quaisquer duas barras de grade contíguas <B>(28a, 28b)<D> são separadas por um espaço de grade.
