Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA DETERMINAR UM âNGULO AZIMUTAL DE UM POçO FORMADO EM UMA FORMAçãO GEOLóGICA". Proporciona-se um processo para determinar um ângulo azimutal de um poço formado em uma formação geológica, usando-se uma ferramenta magnetométrica disposta em uma coluna de perfuração que se estende no poço, a ferramenta magnetométrica tendo uma orientação selecionada em relação à coluna de perfuração. O processo compreende a) selecionar pelo menos duas localizações ao longo do poço em que dito poço tenha diferentes inclinações selecionadas, b) para cada localização selecionada, dispor a coluna de perfuração no poço, de um tal modo que a ferramenta magnetométrica fique posicionada na localização selecionada, e operar a ferramenta magnetométrica de modo a medir o campo magnético local, incluindo o campo magnético terrestre e um campo de magnetização da coluna de perfuração que tenha um componente em um plano substancialmente vertical através do eixo longitudinal da coluna de perfuração na localização selecionada, c) determinar, a partir do campo magnético medido e das inclinações do poço selecionadas, o dito componente do campo de magnetização da coluna de perfuração, d) corrigir o campo magnético medido para o dito componente do campo de magnetização da coluna de perfuração, e e) determinar, a partir do campo magnético corrigido, o azimute do poço."PROCESS TO DETERMINE AN AZIMUTAL ANGLE OF A WELL FORMED IN A GEOLOGICAL FORMATION". A process is provided to determine an azimuthal angle of a well formed in a geological formation, using a magnetometric tool arranged in a drilling column that extends into the well, the magnetometric tool having a selected orientation in relation to the drilling column . The process comprises a) selecting at least two locations along the well where said well has different selected slopes, b) for each selected location, arrange the drilling column in the well, in such a way that the magnetometric tool is positioned at the location selected, and operate the magnetometric tool in order to measure the local magnetic field, including the terrestrial magnetic field and a magnetization field of the drill string that has a component in a substantially vertical plane through the longitudinal axis of the drill string at the selected location , c) determine, from the measured magnetic field and the selected slopes of the well, said component of the magnetization field of the drilling column, d) correct the measured magnetic field for said component of the magnetization field of the drilling column, and e) determine, from the corrected magnetic field, the azimuth of the p hollow.
