Abstract

"COMPOSIçõES DE POLìMEROS DE CLORETO DE VINILIDENO EXTRUDáVEIS E SUAS APLICAçõES". A presente invenção compreende uma composição de polímero de cloreto de vinilideno compreendendo (1) um polímero de cloreto de vinilideno onde o componente predominante é um monómero de cloreto de vinilideno e o restante sendo um ou mais monómeros monoetilenicamente insaturados copolimerizáveis com o monómero de cloreto de vinilideno, (2) um éster de glicerol e (3) um polímero de silicone, o éster de glicerol e o polímero de silicone estando presentes em uma quantidade suficiente para melhorar a extrudabilidade do polímero de cloreto de vinilideno, e, opcionalmente, um adjuvante de processamento epoxidado. A composição de cloreto de vinilideno pode ser utilizada para fabricar recipientes flexíveis e rígidos, tanto segundo estruturas em monocamada quanto em multicamadas, para uso na preservação de alimentos, bebidas, medicamentos e outros perecíveis."COMPOSITIONS OF EXTRUDABLE VINYLIDENE CHLORIDE POLYMERS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS". The present invention comprises a vinylidene chloride polymer composition comprising (1) a vinylidene chloride polymer where the predominant component is a vinylidene chloride monomer and the remainder being one or more monoethylenically unsaturated monomers copolymerizable with the chloride monomer vinylidene, (2) a glycerol ester and (3) a silicone polymer, the glycerol ester and the silicone polymer being present in an amount sufficient to improve the extrudability of the vinylidene chloride polymer, and, optionally, an adjuvant epoxidized processing. The vinylidene chloride composition can be used to manufacture flexible and rigid containers, both in monolayer and multilayer structures, for use in preserving food, beverages, medicines and other perishables.
